hey i`m mostly a saxophonist but i picked up a flute a while back and i was wondering how to get rid of my "airy" sound. is there a place i should be putting my lips? plz lend a helpin hand. thx. *guy flutes rock*

I was/am a flutist and I picked up the saxaphone awhile ago! Haha, the irony!
Anyways, you can most likely ask your teacher, or someone you know who plays and they can show you. I can`t really explain it to you, but maybe you don`t have the ombesure put on your lips properly. You`d have to talk to someone about it and have them show you. It can`t really be explained!
