hi
i am 19 years old, from germany and i play flute for 5 years. next year i will start to study music with flute as first instrument and piano as second. in 2 weeks i will go to the USA for one year and take lessons to get prepared for my audition in college. i want to start oboe, because i like the sound and have the time to do it while in the USA. does anybody have experience with this combination of instruments? is it difficult because of embochure?
