what`s a alto flute is hard to play then a normal flute dose it look like a normal flute?

An alto flute is larger than a normal or soprano flute. The fingering is the same however the keys are spaced farther apart. I remember felling quite "stretched" when I played it. They are usually in the key of G not C like a soprano flute.
