Not that you all care, but I wanted to thank some of you for your input when I was searching.
Taking Meme`s literature regarding precious metals into consideration, I advised the sales lady to not tell me the material of the flute. She looked a bit startled, but agreed. I played a Powell, Altus, Miyazawa and finally decided on a Muramatsu EX. I could not get any other flute to replicate this instrument`s dark sound and ease of play.
After selecting the instrument I liked best, I found out only the headjoint was silver. Thanks Meme.

I agree with Meme on that one. When I was play testing all sorts of pro level flutes, the mechanism was the best by far on the Muramatsu than any of the others. Enjoy your new flute!
