i have been playing the flute for about 5 or 6 years now but when i am playing the flute my left wrist always starts to hurt because it feels strained. i think my posture is ok does anyone have any suggestions why?

If your posture is good then you might want to do some wrist
lifts with a little weight and do some like rotations with
it also good luck

Are you using an inline or offset G configuration? Offset G causes much less strain for the majority of people. If you have really small hands, you may want to consider key extensions.
