There`s this really arrogant hornist/trumpeter in band. Even though she`s only 1 year older than me, she acts like she`s 20! She totally ignores me. hel;

So just ignore her back.

Well, her mom and my mom are really good friends so it`s not as simple as you think.
I`m forever hearing about what she does, where she went, what she got for Christmas,
etc.

Ahh.. okay.
It sounds likes she is more imature than you think.

Grow up for starters and quite whining about everything. Who cares if she ignores you. If you have other friends, then what do you care if one person is ignoring you? Boo hoo!!

Jeez, dont be so mean, dunno what your problem is, but it`s hurtful when you`re trying to talk to someone who ignores you.

All I can say is, Ignore her back, dont let her get to you, if ur parents are friends, tough, she obviously dosen`t care about it, why should you? and she can take her "Superior" a** sumwhere else, eventually, she`ll give up or go away.

i know how you feel, abd the best thing to do is to continue to be nice to her. even though she may ignore you and i know how hurtful that can be. but to really get to her just be as nice as you can to her. eventually she`ll have to stop ignoring you and maybe even want to be your friend. (trumpet players tend to be a little big headed anyways)

Take it from a trumpet player... all of us seem to have some sort of attitude. I know I did and still sometimes do.
Just ignore her I mean yah seems simple but she is just try`n to get attention from everyone so if you don`t give it to her she`s bound to stop. Believe me on this one.
I swear I`m still pay`n for my frosh yr which was needless to say quite a while ago.
