i`m afraid of offering this (seeing how much work that would give me to scan stuff) but i want to do a good service cause i`m a nice person i have a few (more like 5....) orchestral flute parts if anyone is interested in exploring. I have:

Planets (Mars Venus Jupiter)- Holst (20 pg. total. separate requests are awesome on this one!)
Magic Flute Overture - Mozart (2 pgs)
Orpheus in the Underworld (has the Can-Can theme)- Offenbach (3 pgs)
Danse Macabre - Saint-Saens (5 pgs i think)
Scheherazade - R.Korsakoff (2nd fl.)(11 pgs.)

besides the Scheherazade, everything else is either 1st Fl. or both parts. E-mail me any requests but feel free to post them on the forum (though i might not be about to get to them as fast). As the year progresses, i`m going to get more, so i`ll post up another thread when that happens. in case anyone is wondering. these are the versions on music that the professional orchestras and symphonies use. it`s not simplified. Also, if any one has any particular favourites, post and i`ll see if i can find anything. but no promises on that

BTW. if anyone else has music that they would be willing to offer me, that would be awesome!

Is this legal? w/e music should be for all!

You are kind, kind person.

Having said that,I would like to request a copy of Scherazade, when convient.

As for the legality of it,1) unless these have been drastically altered from the original score, the copyright on most of these pieces should have long ago expired, and is now in the public domain, and 2) As long as you`re not distributing it en mass, or trying to sell it, I suspect this is more or less legal.

Again, many thanks

Mason

Great to see I`m not the only one who loves to share sheet music of orchestral works. I have the 1st and 2nd flute part of a lot of classical works : Beethoven, Mozart, Sibelius, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Smetana, ... Please mail me for a list, as it is too much to mention here.

thanks for the offer, i will e-mail you if anything comes to mind. as for Brian and Mason, i will try my best to get your copies to you within the next week or so. could you guys send me an e-mail (fluteloops@gmail.com)to remind me? thanks, this week is going to be very busy, but i`ll try me best!
PS the scheherazade is 11 pages..so it might be a big file (i`m going to put it in a word doc.) do you want me to e-mail it in sections?
