How often should you use the cloth to polish your solid silver flute?

Ever since I got mine, I`ve been polishing it everyday after I practice or come home from band. But if you`re not worried about finger prints, etc., then every 3 days or so would be fine. Or once a week.

Well, if you don`t mind a saz player throwing in some experiance, I keep my silver C-melody wrapped in a
anti-tarnish cloth. I usually wash or rinse my hands before I play, and after I finish playing, I wipe it down with a anti tarnish cloth. Since I just got it overhauled and polished (its a selmer from 1920s), I haven`t had to de-tarnish it yet.
