ok, i have a really stupid question, but i just got a new open-holed flute for christmas and inside of the case there is a white paper that says something about that its "treated with corrosion inhibitors". Am i supposed to keep this in the case, or is it just there until someone buys the flute? Thanks.

I have no idea, leave it to KC or someone to find out, but if I were you, I`d just keep it in a safe place just in case. Never know what might happen these days~!

It sounds like it is just a tarnish inhibiter strip.

"It sounds like it is just a tarnish inhibiter strip."

Does that mean i should or shouldn`t leave it in??

It is just to prevent stubborn tarnish on your flute. I don`t know how well these strips really work, but it is fine to leave it in your case.
