I dont know about all you people, but I`ve noticed that a heck of a lot of flute players are the butt of other people`s jokes (And thats without the American pie thing!). I am not intending to start a mud-slinging competition or a power struggle over who`se the best. Will any professionals, dedicated players and Just about anyone with a bit of dignity try to prove em wrong!

What do you want people to say? I really don`t know what you expect? When you get older and get into the real world, you don`t run into that. It is really imature to even have a debate about what is the best instrument.

who gives a F anyway? I sympethize with the flutes some, but in reality, don`t come to this forum, or beat up the idiot insulting you; thats a good reason to stay fit. Gyms only cost about $25-30 a month, i`d start now if I were you (which im not). It`s really important to be healthy, and its really impressive, and you will live longer, better, and have a less chance of dieing in accidents; Like the muscles you work out on your back and neck; I know a guy, who is alive because in the car crash, his neck didn`t snap cause he was a body builder; like swaqrzenager or however you spell it.

ok, to be honest guys, I did it for 2 reasons, 1) To see if any of you people could prove why flautists are treated as idiots (which you did, by cating like idiots) and 2) to see how long it would take for you ppl to go off topic, and u ppl sure as hell broke a record here!

Oh and btw to the guy saying that it is a "poor us" topic, I dont for a second think that flautists or NE one else are pitiful, or otherwise deserve to be pitied, but jesus christ why are musicians so high strung? loosen up guys! it`s just music!
