Im a 12 yr. old flutist. Ive been playing for about a yr and Im actually pretty good. ( 1st chair in my band class @ School! ) But not to brag. Im not the smartest though, My flute case corner chiped off. My flute is still protected and all but I want a new case. I havent told my mom + Dad yet. How much do they usually cost? Could they melt some plastic on it and how much would that cost?

Hey Flute cases arnt that expensive... im guessing 20- 30 dollars... you can always look on the internet to see if any one is selling flute cases just to see how the prices will look.

The flute cases that I have seen are usually 20 - 35 dollars. Gig bags are usually more, like 50 dollars, but they are nice. Keep practicing!!!!

Mine was only $15, there must have been a 99% off sale, it rules!

you don`t need to buy a new one. you can check out a local music store for a case protecter. it`s a cover that you put you case in. it`s cushioned with pads and looks quite good.

It depends on what you want.. I got a fully-padded, wooden case (ie. it`ll bounce and the flute is held securely) for £60. It`s well worth the money.

I got one of those Protec cases and those are about 50 bucks, a regular hard shell case was about 30 I think
