I can play up to E7. I want to experiment with this chart, I never knew that there were notes higher!

Not trying to be a wise guy here but yes, it`s simple to get higher than that. Get yourself an Eb clarinet. Not only will you get higher but you`ll sound ten times better doing it.

I`m not exactly sure---in fact its made me confused, theres three octaves in the clarinet am I correct? And all I know is that the highest you can go is I think to the highest G in the third octave (I`m so sorry, I`m not familar with calling notes with numbers and I`ve only been playing for ten months) or am I wrong? It`s gotten me confused......... just when I thought I could finally play all three octaves...

lol, at this point it`s just like a trumpet, you don`t really have a "maximum". The standard fingering charts generally go from E3 (this is the lowest note) to E6(this is the E two lines higer than the staff).
But there are alternate fingerings charts that goes up to A7 meaning EIGHT extra lines over the staff...
Except to impress girls and other clarinetist it`s totally unuseful (is this a word?==>I mostly speak french...)

The highest note on the clarinet is the C above the C above the staff (a.k.a. super C)

The word you want is "useless", Christian. I struggle with french sometimes, too.

Also, make sure you put the proper verb agreement on "clarinetists", since you are referring to a group of people.
Quelquefois, l`anglais est une langue très difficile...

-->And YES you can go higher than the C super high, personnaly, I can go to D...look at http://www.wfg.woodwind.org/clarinet/index.html
(Make sure you don`t play too often in this extreme register, both for your lips and your parents!)
