my band teacher found this piece for me last year, to play at solo and ensemble, and i really liked it. if you`re having trouble, you should go through all the phrases slowly, and try for all the notes being even. a lot of it`s just up and down the scales anyway, so practcing those might be a good idea..

Well for all-state honor band.. we have to play it as a clarinet audition and I`ve been practicing 2 hr a day on the piece itself and its pretty basic if youre good at the rhythms and the cadenza is just like rolling down a hill I dont know any midi files but i thought of the song as light (scherzo means joke) piece. the meno mosso as the serious parts and the cadenza as going downhill than climning up. if you think of it like that you`ll get the right feel of the piece I hope that helped

you guys should ask parents or invest yourself in SmartMusic Studio. It plays piano accompaniments for method books and HUNDREDS of solos and pieces.
