I think the Copland Concerto is difficult if you have to perform it in completion.
But Mozart`s concerto can be hard to play melodically.

I`m not sure if this is `hard` compared to all of you, but one of the hardest songs I`ve ever played (I`m going into my freshman year) is the band arrangement of Polka and Fugue from Schwanda the Bagpiper. It`s fast, tricky, but hella fun.

i agree with Clara that Copland is wicked long and pretty crazy to play melodically correct. Also, the jumps from middle A to high E are pretty hard.

In response to the jumps from throat A to high E in the Copland Concerto...try covering your LH Pointer`s hole halfway when you jump. It actually let`s you play it softer than the quirky and loud regular fingering without the half-hole. it also works with that on the C#, D and D#/Eb. In regards to the hardest piece I have played. Mine is a tie...Nielsen Concerto for Clarinet and Muczynski Time Pieces. The Muczynski has accidentals all over the place while you`re doing 16th notes at 112 bpm or faster!
