How much approximatly (i dont care if i spelt it wrong) is this repair going to cost???

Well my clarinet has parts of the plating wearing off so it is a sort of bronzy colour i have used a silver polish cloth doesn`t help much. How much would it approximatly cost to get it repainted?????
I live in Australia so i can still take american prices

you don`t need to repair it. all nickel plated keys wear with time, and it has no effect on the way the horn plays/sounds. replating the keys can cost upwards of $500 (american). i would say hold out until you buy a new horn, and get silver plated keys instead of nickel.

Yeah, I agree.
My Buffet`s keys did the same thing and I actually took it into the repairshop and asked if they could plate my keys Silver.
They told me that it would not cover up the plating wear on the keys so it wouldn`t be worth doing. It would just be silver with the wear still on the keys. I was sad though because I really wanted to have silver keys!
