I`ve been playing the clarinet for about 4 years, and I can get pretty high like the high E, but I have loads of trouble getting up there and no matter how hard I try I can`t play any higher than high Eb. Any suggestions?

Hey there. I just had a Master Class from a Clarinetist from the Toronto Symphony and the guy told me (since I have trouble hitting the high notes too) to try a higher level of reed. So say if you play with a 3, try a 3 1/2. Or try buying a different brand of reeds.

look well to get high notes out it doesnt matter about the read its about the ambersure and the air supply. So give a lot of air and that will help.
