Well, that`s what it is. I made a string ligature and is using it right now, but it`s hard to adjust, tough to change reeds with, and its simply will not appel to the audience.

I`m using a Vandoren M15 mouth piece, Rico Royal 3, and a Yamaha 26II student clarinet. I play prefer my sound to be rich... very rich. I`m quite an advance player for a student who have only around 2 years of experience (minus one year, which is on a bass clarinet - will never play it again).

So... which ligature would you guys recommand? My conductor recommands a rubber one over metal or soft plastic.
