Throughout the various post I have read, the vandoren optimum seems to be one of the top notch ligatures to possess. I was talking to my private lessons teacher about getting a new ligature and she suggested the BG Super Revelation Ligatures. Does anyone know if that is a good one to have, or if I should go with the vandoren? Thanks for all the help.

I have never heard of the BG Super Revelation Ligatures, but I do own the vandoren optimum and I love it.

I`ve got the vandoren to my regular Bb-clarinet and the BG for my e-flat clarinet. I think both are good but I can`t compare them when it`s to different instrument I think BG`s are less expensieve (how come I can`t figure out how to spell that word )
