hi
im going on holiday and im taking my clarinet with me.
im going to fly about an hour in an aeroplane.
i have a buffet e11 clarinet.
is it safe to fly with your clarinet?
is there any special way you have to pack it to protect it against changes in air pressure or will its case be enough?

I would probably take put it as my hand luggage, but you can`t do anything about the air pressure. But it shouldn`t be much different than the one on the earth Have a nice vacation!

It`s case should be enough. Take it as carry on luggage and the airplanes have pressurized cabins, so it`ll be the same as it is now. I`m glad I`m not traveling it`d be kind of hard lugging a tenor sax around(the case is humongous for some reason O.o), not that I`d take it x)

I took my clarinet with me when I went to Colorado for Fine Arts Festival. I packed it with my carry on, just in case my main luggage got lost or put into the wrong hands. The airpressure had no effect on it at all, and if it did I couldn`t notice. But yeah. Your clarinet should be fine. Have a nice trip!
