Can anyone recommend some recordings by classical clarinetists of pieces of music with ethnic influences - i.e. gypsy, Jewish, middle-eastern etc.

Andy Statman plays some great Jewish clarinet music. I have the Songs of Our Fathers CD and a lot of the songs on there are great, although I mainly listen to the first one because I loooove it. I have another Jewish CD, it's by Putumayo Records and it's called Jewish Odyssey. There's also one by that same record company called Gypsy Caravan, but I don't know if it has the clarinet in it. Putumayo CD's are great, esp. if you're looking for middle eastern music, which I LOVE. Anyway, hope I helped with my somewhat limited information.
