I was looking on eBay to see if they had any good deals on clarinets as Im looking to purchase one and I came across one for 16 dollars and shipping to Canada for 17 dollars. I figured this is gotta be a joke but none the less I look and the clarinet doesn't look too bad. Would you reccomend it? The seller stated "Evette Buffet Crampon B-flat clarinet made in Germany. I played this clarinet; it has a good tone and is in fair condition. All pads and corks intact, all keys in working order. Comes with hard case. Within case, the padding and lining are missing on one side, so I've put a piece of egg crate mattress foam to prevent the instrument's pieces from knocking around. Suitable for a beginning band student."

Well, for 33 bucks...what is the harm? Even if it costs 150 to get it "fixed" it will still be worth around 300-400 after that. Depending on how old it is of course, and that the scale isn't terribly out of whack.
