Hi everyone,

I have decided to cut down on my majors in college for the time being and concentrate on my Flute Performance Degree. I am, therefore, selling my Buffet Special X Clarinet. I bought it less than a year ago from Sam Ash (they are the only ones who carry this model as it was specifically made for Sam Ash). It is set up just like the Prestige is. It has the Alternate Eb Lever. If you follow the link below it will tell you all about the clarinet. Included in it's Cool Gig Case (which is setup like a back-pack) I will put a silk cleaning cloth, the original buffet cleaning cloth, the lever clamp, 7 Vandoren reeds Strength 3.5, the original Buffet Mouthpiece, two vinyl Mouthpiece Patches, and the Buffet pamphlets that came with it. The clarinet Lists for $1,945.00. Sam Ash offers it for $999.00. I am sacrificing it for a new flute at $700.00. It is practically brand new as I take VERY good care of my instruments. The bottom 4 pads will eventually need to be replaced as I believe someone left some staining on the clarinet when they put the pads and keys on. It plays in PERFECT condition, and there is nothing wrong whatsoever with this clarinet (except a slight wear on the finish on the LH3 tonehole that does not have a ring). I need to save up about $12,000 dollars for the new flute, and as I am not using this for a few years and am upgrading my clarinet when I DO start playing...it has to go!
