I am playing both the solo parts on these songs for our fall conert, just wondering if anyone else is playing either one of these. They are pretty freaking hard.

My youth orchestra played The Planets Suite last year as part of our first concert. Mars, was one of the easier movements in the suite but still challenging.

I found that listening to the songs before rehearsal really helped me. Perhaps you should download Mars and listen to the trouble areas more specifically.

I know both the songs thouroughly, its just this one part with 16th-notes that I cant get too well. Its the part right before it gets soft. Tougning it is really difficult.
