Since school is starting soon, I wanted to break in some new reeds. Most of the time, I just play on them for about an hour. I know, I know...thats not how your supposed to break them in.
I want some awesome sounding reeds for the new school year. Whats the best way to break in reeds?

You should soak your reeds for about 8-10 minutes in a little warmer than luke warm water. then you should play warmups on them for about 10 minutes then I usually let them soak for about 4-6 more minutes. I wouldn`t play anything too expressive or stressful on them until you soak them and play warmups on them...
