No brand is the best..........

You wanna talk about Buffet? Let`s talk about Buffet. Most people will get the R13 because it`s the standard professional Buffet. Do you know how many R13s I`ve tried that were complete garbage? The quality control on them is horrible- the worst I`ve ever encountered. Sure there are decent R13s, but for the most part they are crap compared to what they should be. Maybe Buffet is the way to go for you, but try everything that you can or else you would`ve wasted your time and money. Don`t listen to anyone who says anything like "Leblanc is the best, Buffet is the best, Selmer is the best" and so on and are serious about it. They are total idiots if they haven`t bothered to check out other brands themselves, or just want to blindly reccomend the brand they play. They don`t know what you like and so how could they know "Buffet is the best" for you???

Homicidal rampage?
Look- first of all this is music and I don`t get angry on a forum over music. I was just adressing the ignorance that has become so prevalent in the clarinet world today.

Bradley,

I can see your point and agree that every clarinetist wants different things in a clarinet, I have also tried many Buffet R13s and some of them aren`t very good at all. They are a bit like reeds if you ask me, you get one in every ten or twenty that are amazing whereas the others are just average (or not very good at all). So I agree with most of the things that you have said in your messages.

HOWEVER!!!

I think that you should express your opinions in a slightly less agressive manner. Everybody has an opinion including you. Your knowledge of clarinets may well be better than others` but don`t get mad about it. You are obviously quite a knowledgeable player so it is nice to have you here but I think that you should calm down a bit.

Amy, I will try to be more sedated in my responses. I am sorry to all if I get mad, but sometimes people insist on something like R13s being the best, when they`re not. Everyone likes something different. I will try as long as you all will try to cut down on posts like that without properly researching them or thinking about every1`s point of view.
