Does anyone know where you can get a GOOD fairly cheap Eb Clarinet (i.e. around 200 dollars) besides places like Ebay. I am interested, but I have not had much success finding one that is affordable, and of good quality.
~Thanks~

$200 puts you in the realm of chinese-sweat-shop-made wal-mart style horns with unheard of brand names stamped on them. I hope that's not too politically incorrect, but these makers are terrible at making Bb clarinets, and Eb is WAY more sensitive to imperfections than Bb. The horn and the pads have to be PERFECT. And even then, that horn is still just hard to play. The cheapest I would go is a Bundy plastic model. They sort of aren't completely awful. I've seen a few go on eBay for less than $200. I'm looking for an Eb, too so look out! It's the only member of the clarinet family I don't have, so I might pay a little extra!
