I'm interested in buying an intermediate-proffesional clarinet, the current clarinet I have is a student model (evette by buffet) what should I be looking for?

I'm kind of interesting in an actual wooden clarinet, my current one is plastic. Or will my current clarinet just be fine? I really don't know.

Intermediate horns don't have very good resale values if you buy them new, but student and professional models do. A Buffet E-11 would be a nice wooden, low-cost upgrade for you, and the top of the line professional model is Buffet R-13. There are plenty of other options, but here's a start. Good Luck!

I agree. Buffet E11s are fine intermediate instruments that you should look into (my personal favorite for intermediates). They are wooden, meaning you should take good care of it to prevent cracking. Go to www.wwbw.com to find them for cheap.
