Point in posting in the clarinet forum?

hey...this is a very important matter of our band program it is very important...and where else should we post it ...we were talking about our marching band...so we got a little off topic...ive posted more random things on different forums than french horn...(wat i play) and got tonz more responces...so be happy i picked u...im joking.lol srry if we bothered u...

oh that must hav been horrible!we shouldnt hav to pay to hav that kind of stuff treated.its so not fair.on top of the asbestous they're re-doing the chapel (again asbestous or some type of mold bacteria thats spreading) above the band room and the people threw all the schools tropheys and awards and pictures on the ground or wherever the felt like it so we had to step over tonz of crud to get 2 our seats.it is sad and the prob needs 2 b fixed asap.

i didnt mean to call our awards "crud" but they're just thrown everywhere making it impossible 2 sit in the front row.our band room has little enough space as it is.(we practice on the stage)if that tells u anything.theres no room 2 hav "stuff" thrown on the floor!!!:-(

Our band is very small for our size school...next year we are loosing abotu 15 people too...

Yeah....next year we will have no tenor saxes, no tenor drum, only 1 sax...etc etc...i really hope we have alot of 8th grader's....Decent ones....

I had no idea there were so many smaller bands.

We have something around 200. I only know that there are 30 something flutes and 25 clarinets.

We dont even have a color gaurd this year, so in our third song (knuckle concerto) everyone but the pit, tubas, and drumline pick up a flag and do gaurd work for 64 counts. It's so much fun!

We have some 100 peoples

last year we had about 300 ish. I dont remember the exact number of players for each instrument but it was somewhere around....

50 flutes
50 clarinet
30 saxes
30 trumpets
20 trombones
15 mellophones
11 tubas
15 euphoniums
50 percussion (drumline/pit)
20 colorguard

its gets pretty hard to coordinate lol

I'm super jealous of all you people with 150 + maybe we'd have more section unity. I'm the only rookie for the clarinets this year (all what eight of us?) and we are disorganized and sad. :\ bye bye section of the year (and i swear to god we'll have section of the year locked and I'll be drillin' them rookies when i'm section leader! in two years...)
