there seem to be a fair few bass clarinetists on here, so i thought i'd post about this. check out a recording of the song "Someday Sweetheart" by Jelly Roll Morton. It's 1920's jazz, and has a bass clarinet solo in the middle- over a minute long!
it's really awesome. you can find it on itunes, i know, maybe other places too.
