Hi,
I have been asked to play clarinet to 'The Rose' along with someone singing it at a relatives wedding. Can anyone tell me where or how I go about getting the accompaniment for clarinet that I play alongside the singer - rather than playing the melody line??
I have the music in a book - but that is just the melody and I would much rather play as an accompaniment.
Any help or advice is gratefully received
Thanks

Well, you're going to want to play the melody because accompniments are ususally for piano. You arent going to find one for clarinet. The downside to this is that you need to practice with the singer ALOT to be perfectly in sync. Its just one of those sad things about clarinet. sorry. hope i helped.
