oh yeah well i can play to the a flat in the altissimo register. on a good day i get an a. one time i got b flat. if you all can`t try holding the clarinet more vertical. also go to www.wfg.woodwinds.org i think that is the adress. they really good fingering charts. they have alternate fingerings to notes that make the note come out easier. also i have a plastic black selmer clarinet.

The colorful clarinets are Vito Dazzlers and they are about the same as any other Vito you can find. Plastic and sharp. "All the way up" should be thought of as the C above the C above the staff. Its very difficult to play in tune.

Woohoo I found out how to do them natural harmonics.. pretty easy on clarinet :P,

Youve got the low octave,
Then the one with the duo deciem/octave thingie
I can get to the Eb above that octave nicely and the F real short.. weird though I can`t do it that easily on saxophone, I need all kind of weird grips to do it like play a high F with the a open... fun but I don`t think I`ll be using it a lot :D

I think I`m an octave above that one, because it sounds to high for the other octave, damn that means I skipped one now I have to find out how to get that one :D

EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS INTERESTED IN PLAYING THE HIGHEST NOTE IN THEIR INSTRUMENT OR EVEN THE LOWEST NOTE. NOW EVEN THOUGH I CAN PLAY THE ENTIRE CHROMATIC SCALE FOR THE CLARINET IT IS JUST STUPID AND POINTLESS TO COMPETE ON WHO CAN PLAY THE HIGHEST NOTE. BESIDES WHEN THE HECK DO YOU EVER USE THOSE REALLY HIGH NOTES ANYWAY. i WILL MAKE AN EXCEPTION TO SOLOS IN JAZZ AND SWING LIKE YAH... YOU GUESSED IT, BENNY GOODMAN.

Hey everybody,
I started playing the clarinet on a red vito dazzler in the 5th grade(6 years ago). I can go all the way up on it. I do agree that wood is better though. It is fun to have everyone ask me where I got it at marching band and pep band. I bought mine in Washington state it was only about 300$.
