I'd suggest buying one of the learn to play clarinet dvds
or a clarinet book that comes with dvd.

They take you through step by step assembling the clarinet, putting the reed on, playing your first note etc.

Like this one on ebay

Can get it cheaper on amazon.com

Sorry, but without a teacher, you won't get far. A book, A DVD, or a real, human teacher.

You need at least one beginners book.

I hope you brought some new reeds to go with the clarinet.
1.5 is pretty easy to start with depending on brand of reed

http://www.yamaha.co.jp/edu/english/soho/cl/navi.html start with this one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMqCk_2pYD0
but do not leave a reed on once finished playing.

http://www.wikihow.com/Play-the-Clarinet
http://www.expertvillage.com/interviews/beginner-clarinet.htm

Don't try and play for to long when starting off.
start with 15 minutes , then build up to an hour a day.

Also I noticed your trying to learn lots of different instruments at the same time.
piano, flute/fife , violin, singing, clarinet
http://www.8notes.com/f/36_215402.asp
http://www.8notes.com/f/31_215382.asp
http://www.8notes.com/f/46_215790.asp

You need to stick to one instrument, learn the basics really well then think about if you want to stick with it or learn another.

If you try and learn too many instruments at the same time, you won't learn any of them properly
The old saying
Jack of all trades , master of none comes to mind

Instead of buying lots of different instruments, stick with what you have
and use the money to get lessons or extra lessons to help you improve.

Fingering chart - www.wfg.woodwind.org/clarinet/cl_bas_1.html

This is the lower register part of the fingering chart, it can be printed out.

But eventually, you will need a teacher. A DVD or beginner's book can only take you so far. There are many things to learn such as articulation, tounge placement, proper air support, etc.

The sooner you find a teacher, the less time you will spend fixing bad habits (like biting).

Yes, teachers are my only recommendation. And by the way, if you wish getting more serious on the clarinet, i suggest you buy something more than a 200 dollar clarinet. Do you have a brand and serial number?

It is a "First Act" clarinet, really good brand for students, like me (www.firstact.com), i really think it is a good clarinet.

Here, the site with the "technical" stuff about my clarinet:
http://shop.firstact.com/PublicStore/product/Clarinet,535,105.aspx

Its not the best clarinet of the world, but its ideal for a student like me, and for a begginer too, like me

first act instruments have a fairly sketchy reputation.

as in, i've never heard anything good about them.
