I have been playing Sax for about 6-7 years now. And for a doubler horn picked up a Clarinet a few months ago. A Selmer Signet 100 Wood Clarinet. The problem is that I can't make the jump. And need some advice on how to do it.
The jump is from staff A to staff B. How do you do it?

Thanks

if you play sax then you should know about changing your emboucher, with the octave key, just make sure that all holes are covered, try going down, start at the D or E, then slowly go to C, B then A, its usually easier to go down, once you have that try and go up, it just takes practise

It helps to hold down fingers 4 5 6 and pinky when crossing the break.

Cool. I have been caught up in an audition, and haven't had a chance to touch the Clarinet. I will give it a try tomorrow when I get a chance to pratice the Clarinet...
