I've recently developed an interactive clarinet fingering website at www.clarinettrainer.com and would appreciate any feedback! That's it, thanks!

An excellent site - i would recommend it to any beginners.
I am quite impressed with usual tuning o each note too (the # or b)- a very usful addition.
Well done

Thanks. I'm a music teacher and clarinetist, and have learned over the years that the pitch tendencies of each instrument can be pretty standard throughout, and as a student, I didn't learn them until college!

I teach them to my elementary and middle schoolers (on every instrument, not just clarinet) and I believe that it makes a better band through better musicians!

Wow, I really like this along with your flute one. You should make an oboe one!

I did one for oboe 2 years ago @ www.oboetrainer.com! It doesn't use the same logic as the clarinet/flute/bassoon site, and it's next on my list to rewrite... but it works nonetheless!

AH! Wow. I remember this from when I started oboe! I like the new fingering chart systems better though.

i was just messing around on the oboe trainer, and i noticed it doesn't work for the forked f fingering... maybe you could incorparate (sp?) that into the new design.

I'll look into that, but I remember the forked F being in there (and there are now over 87,000 notes tested - I should have heard about this before now!)

Nonetheless, thanks for the feedback, and I hope I can track down the problem. The oboe site rewrite is definitely on my "to-do" list as the newer format is much more intuitive and less prone to error... plus it's easier to code.

Thanks again!

I was just messing around on the oboe trainer, and the lower f's forked fingering worked great, but the higher one didn't.
