Hi..
As I told you, I got Buffet E11 and I just ordered the Vandoren Mouthpiece B45
While I was in high school,I used reed #3 ½ or sometime even #4. The clarinet I was using, was Buffet wood (made in USA) and the Vendoren mouthpiece. Some people told me that I don’t need reeds that hard. They told me to use reed# 3 which everyone should use.
I just wanna know whether it’s true or not that every professional clarinetist should use reed#3 ????

You should use a reed that responds well, plays in tune and gets a good sound. It is true that many professionals use around a size 3/ 3 1/2 but that doesn`t mean it will be right for you.
