i have been playing every since i was in 4th grade now i am in the 6th grade if you are a beginner the at first it will kind of hard then later on it will easier then you will know how to play as good as me i am so good i be playin with the 7th and 8th graders pretty soon you will be that good if you already isnt

I`ve been playing for just a year now - had my first clarinet for my 50th birthday last December and I really enjoy playing !!!Had some real fun at first as I`ve little feeling in my left thumb and index finger !!!
And yeah you`re right - it does actually get better !!!
Just about to hold my first Christmas carol concert for the old folk where I work.
I`m playing all alone with backing tracks - I must be mad !!!

This is actually my third week but I`ve been so obsessed with this instrument that I`ve been practicing like 4 hours a day! This one has to be my favorite out of any other instrument I`ve played.

I`ve been playing a little over a year, I just started freshman year in my high school band. I`m a sophomore now and people tell me that I`m REALLY good for only one year. My range is from the Low E-- high G sharp (the one four and a half legers above the staff)...I can do it with good tone too.

I started playing the clarinet a couple of months ago.. so i could join marching band!!! and its soo awesome.. since this is my first year of playing the clarinet i am in varsity band (freshman band).. and i am the only 10th grader in the class.. but i think its a blast.. it can be hard work.. but it just takes pratice.. i have been playing for about 3 months now.. and im 4th chair.. in class... :-)

I`ve been playing since 5th grade and I`m a freshman in college now, so I guess that puts it at 9 years. I love it so much that I`m a clarinet performance major now! (After one semester of trying to double in biology and clarinet, I decided that I couldn`t be a biologist and HAD to play the clarinet for the rest of my life!!)

Im been playing for about a year on the Eb Alto Clarinet but recently I started on the Soprano i find it very fun. P.S. Does anyone have any techniques to become better on the Clarinet?

hey i have been playing clarinet since 5tgh grade when band became avalible. now im in 9th grade, high school and in marching band. band is so much fun i love it. im first chair, so all the solos are awesome too. music is basicly what i do.

LoL, just like Shanna I started playing clarinet in the 5th grade and I am in 9th grade. Haha, I`m also section leader at my high school. I love to play musical instruments, I`m a doubler so I also play Eb Soprano Clarinet, Oboe and Flute. I march Bb Soprano Clarinet though for Marching band and Field Show. Also for Pep Band I play Bb. I hope you have fun playing the clarinet!

ive played my clarinet for 4 years.

I`ve been playing for just about 7 years, and i love it. I plan on going to college for clarinet performance i love it so much. I play several different instruments (trombone, flute, piano, french horn, oboe) and clarinet is definatly the best in my opinion.

I`ve been plying the clarinet for 2 1/2 years and live it!!!

this is my first year playing the carinet and it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I`m going to play my clarinet all the way through college
