Hello im new and i have two questions i've had my clarinet for about 6 years. I've never know what type of clarinet it is but all i can give you is that it is made of wood and the serial number is 871290. My second question is whats a good type of clarinet a high school student should have? im hopeing to look for a professionsl one too so thank you for any comments!

Usually Buffet instruments have the model number stamped on them - E11 B12 etc. The exception is the R13 their standard professional model. There is a serial number check on their web site but I think that won't tell you the model.
