I'm looking into getting a Vandoren b45 clarinet mouthpiece. I've heard it's like the best. But since it does cost $70.00 some dollars I would like to get some reviews on it before I buy. Could y'all help me out here? Thanks!

I think it's fab! I have one on my old boosey imperial 926 and it's brilliant! Also, Vandoren are well known for their excellent mouthpieces!

It's a good mouthpiece for some people. For others (including myself) it is a not so good mouthpiece. Vandoren makes great mouthpieces, but there are a lot to choose from. I would add to your list the M30, M15, and 5RV. Try and find a music store near you that will let you trial them.

um.... i agree there good for some and not with others. i dont like them because after you play on a certain mouthpiece for a while and then switch to b45 i found out that it blocks the tone
