Hello,
I am a musician, guitar and keys. I have been around music all my life. I am now a collector, trader, and seller of musical instruments. I need help from an expert on Clarinets. I am not.
So I am asking here for a name, or where I should look for an expert. I assume that someone on this forum is. I have just acquired a Clarinet with this information stamped on it.

Serial # D266**.
I have photos, and the complete serial number. Can anyone tell me anything about this instrument? I have done much research, but have failed to truly identify this Clarinet. A small bit of information I can give, is that I, at one time owned a music store and this instrument was given to me. It was brought in by and elderly women, whose husband used to play this Clarinet. After he passed away, she just gave it too her local music shop, as many people do across the country. I am being led to believe this is a rare R13. Can anyone point me in the direction that would help.

This forum, while they do their best, seem to be really well meaning junior amateurs. and thay don;t seem to be able to give expert advice.. I suggest you log on to 'clarinet bboard', a forum comprised of professional musicians, teachers, repair technicians, etc. Ask there and you will get the best advice in the clarinet world.
