Who has been the best teacher you`ve ever had? Why?
Mine was Floyd Williams, who is the Senior Lecturer in clarinet at the Queensland Conservatorium of music. He is a wonderful man, a brilliant player and an amazing teacher.

Hey, Rachel, did you ever have Paul Dean as a teacher? For that matter, do you know the guy that won the Young Performer of the Year last year? I`m from Adelaide and was at the finals concert in Melbourne. Don`t know much about QLD Con except for those two.

Just curious.

Al.

Alyssa- I never had Paul as a teacher, but I have heard him at concerts a few times. He does a lot of concerts at the Conservatorium, and being a Conservatorium student I get free entry to them which is pretty good. Floyd actually taught Paul, so that should give you some idea of how good he is.
I do know Richard (winner of the competition); he is a very nice young man.
