I`ve been playing the clarinet for 6 years, and i recently started reading these postings. many people have been mentioning different levels of playing, and i`ve never heard of anything like that. Can somone explain them to me?

Hi Jackie. It depends on what they mean by `levels` but for instance, it could refer to public music exam levels (I`m from Australia and we have Music Examination Board exams which go up to a high level of diploma) I know that the UK have something similar but not sure about that. Either that or it could refer to band levels (A Grade, B Grade etc, Level 1 etc) or university/conservetory year levels.
