Thanks!

The Selmer reed case seems to be the best value. A good quality reed case at a good price. Check out WWBW for them.

Hi,
I find the vandoren reed cases are excellent, I use them - you can fit four redds in them and they are labelled with dots 1-4 so you can have your best reed with one dot, second best with second dot etc.. and there are air holes so the reed can breathe.

I`ve actually found that the Vandoren ones don`t breathe. I`ve never had so much mould in my life. It depends on the overall environment. The La Voz reed cases are good but I keep my reeds in a plastic sealable box with sponges and rock salt which keeps mould at bay and acts as a humidifier. Any reed case is alright providing the reed can dry thoroughly and keeps the reed flat. If you have this box, it doesn`t matter what you get as long as you follow the basics.

I remember at this Texas music convention I went to...I was looking into a new reed case...I saw the Vandoren booth...and got sidetracked because the new Rue Lepic reeds had just been placed on the market. The guy gave me a few of the reeds...and I asked him where he knew if anyone was selling Selmer reed cases. BAD IDEA...that guy BS`ed to me for abour 10 mins saying how reed wallets warp your reeds. He tried selling me the Vandoren plastic thing with the tube in the middle...which he called a "humidity" controlling device. That really made me laugh. Eventually I bought the Selmer case...and a few months later...it was stolen with all my Gonzalez reeds inside...now I have a Harris reed case. It`s look nice...and it preserves my reeds very well. I have many friends that just leave their reeds in a large freezer bag. I could understand how that works. As the reeds have a lesser chance to dry completely and warp...so you decide...

Mine is a Vandoren one with the 1-4dots (I love that part..no more writing on the back of my reeds for me!)It doesn`t have air holes but it does have a thing with charcoal in the center to keep them regulated or something. I`d check that one out. If your a do it yourselfer, My old teacher had a thick piece of glass with sanded down edges that she put her reeds on (I think she attached them with some kind of elastic). It worked nicly to prevent warping.
