Hello everyone i am new to the bass clarinet and have a hard time playing because i squeak. I have been told to hold my mouth a certain way which i try, but it is still hard because i am very used to my tight embasure when i am playing a regular Bb clarinet. Any suggestions on how i can stop the squeaking. Thanks for at least listening. Squeaky

Okay, you can`t let anyone tell you how to hold your mouth. People can give you vauge guide lines but it is up to you you find what works. Experament and think loose!

you definitely need to experiment... and don`t be too loose, just, kind of firm. Everyone squeaks a lot wen they start, especially on high notes, accented notes, and I noticed every beginner seems to squeak on the low F.
