Fairly short pieces, about a half a page. I`m a high school student looking for good solos to play for the solo and ensemble contest. I`d like a book that contains solos that don`t go too high or in other words, suitable for bass clarinet and clarinet.

Thanks!

Try the Concert and Contest collection book. I believe Rubank prints it. Or, alternatively, ask your band director to show you the contest list, and purchase pieces individually.
