I was learning Sax, but couldn`t afford to buy one, so I have just bought a clarinet instead.
It was secondhand, but feels and plays like new. All joints are tight, and no leaks that I can find - the low notes are strong and easy to blow. All pads present and in good condition.
I was a little put off by the bright red colour, but I had read that the Vito clarinets were good student choices. This one, the 7312 apparently is the same as the 7212 only coloured.
So, after buying a couple of reeds on the way home, first night trying to play clarinet. I think my sax practice has helped as I am playing simple tunes easily enough (simple stuff like - When the saints go marching in, and Wooden Heart)
I think I`m going to enjoy this instrument.
