how far can i get with bassoon in a period of 3/4 of a month? (time before school starts). I was just in grade 9*, playing in a grade 10 music class, because of previous flute experience. This year, starting off on bassoon, I am hoping not to have to go to grade 9 music, in a grade 10 year, because I am starting a new instrument. I will be gettin two hour-long lessons this summer, and all the necessities, books, etc. How far do yo think I can get in 3/4 of a month?

how many hours per day (EVERY day) are you going to practice?

It depends on how devoted and determined you are. If you are willing enough, you could easily be a Grade 10 music in 3/4. Good luck!
