Hello (from England)!
I've just accquired a very sad and unloved bassoon, playable but in pretty bad shape. It's stamped 'Thibouville'. Has anyone heard of this make or know anything about it? (Including whether it's worth spending twice what I paid for it to restore it to full playability and lovely appearance!)
Cheers!

I came across:
"Thibouville Freres, established 1857
by Louis, Nicolas, and Pierre Thibouville "
in a listing for some antique clarinets.

Try Googling: Thibouville woodwind
(a lot will be in French)
Hope this helps.
