I play a full-sized lever harp, and I have a bassoonist friend who has really gotten me fascinated with the instrument. We looked for bassoon/harp duets but could only find things for pedal harp (which I don't have) or the bassoon parts were really kind of boring. I wanted to show off the bassoon's lyrical side as well as some of the fun things it can do... and my friend has an amazing high register sound, so I've used quite a bit of tenor clef as well. Anyhow, this piece is the result, and my first attempt at a bassoon solo. Enjoy!

The music is amazing! Very nice. I listened to most of the pieces on your site and I must say you have a good assortment. I would love to see some clarinet, oboe, bassoon trios for sale.
