Don't you have a teacher who can recognise when a bassoon is not working correctly & tell the school to get it fixed?

Don't get an Amati. I had one new one as a Hire instrument and played it for four months before buying a Shreiber. Instantly it was as though I had been playing for a year.

Had it six years now and it is a great instrument.
