I know the Linton Plastic Bassoon are very good, but has anyone heard of or played a Linton Wood bassoon?? I didn't even know they existed.

OH..i meant to say that Linton Plastic bassoon ARE NOT very good.

I've had a couple of wood Lintons in the past.One was made by Schreiber with the Linton name on it and it was pretty good. The other was made by Linton with proper keywork (unlike plastic ones),not as good as the Schreiber but better than the plastic variety.

I agree, and as always say, if you're going to spend the money on wood, you may as well chip in some more for a good one.
